engineered solutions for today's problems

May15, 2017

Spectrum Engineering has been working hard at developing some of our own FORZA products which we hope to eventually put on the market.  One of them is a small coffee stand which we hope to have some pictures of soon.  The other product is a FORZA Motorcycle Tie Down System.  John was hoping to take his bike out with his brother-in-law on a road trip to the states to test out this system.  It's looking like some snow might be heading that way so they are looking at changing their plans.  Hopefully they will still be able to head out somewhere!

Meridian Weld Cell Installation

A few weeks ago Spectrum Engineering together with Norgen Technologies packed up the robot at our testing facility and installed it at the Meridian shop.  There is still programming which needs to be completed before it can be tested for production but our part of the project is complete.

Lift Stands for Motor Coach Industries

Four of these lift stands were designed by Hin Yat and fabricated for Motor Coach Industries to support an entire coach.

These 550 pound stands have a hidden caster system which make the stands very easy to maneuver into place.

Lode King Suspension fixture update

This past month has been a busy time finishing up some fairly large projects.  One of them was the suspension assembly fixture for Lode King.  The fixture itself was welded up quite a few months ago.  This past month, the ALM automotive lift components arrived so the assembly of the fixture onto the lift device was almost completed.  This is a very impressive structure.  Here is a a picture of the fixture attached to the lift device with the trailer components and axles in place and one of Mike from Norjen Consulting hard at work.

Lode King Suspension Assembly Fixture
Friday, 05 June 2015 13:13

Lode King asked Spectrum to design a new assembly fixture for building the heavy duty suspension frames for one of their lines.  John spent 2 days with them in the shop assembling the fixture.  The assembly went very smoothly.  Lode King provided a great team with very skilled people.

These are all of the parts before any assembly began.
